Jazz classes are vibrant and energetic consisting of unique
moves set to a quicker rhythm and incorporates different styles of turns and leaps. To excel in jazz, dancers need a
strong background in ballet, as it encourages grace and balance. Jazz classes begin at 7 years old in a jazz and
tap combo class, and continue up through age 10. From age 11 years old and up, the jazz classes are seperated into
Jazz 1-3 and placement in these classes is determined by the instructor. This Waunakee Dance Studio offers jazz instruction
for all ages. Spotlight Dance Academy's new dance studio is state of the art with two spacious dance rooms accomodating
dancers ages 3 and up. Featuring a convenient dance studio location with a variety of dance classes to choose from including jazz
dance instruction and jazz combo classes.

Class Schedule Fall 2009-2010:
Jazz 1(11+yrs.)- Thursday 4:00-4:30p.m.
Jazz 2A(12-13yrs.)- Thursday 7:45-8:15p.m.
Jazz 2B(14-16yrs.)-
Thursday 8:45-9:15p.m.
Jazz 3(16+yrs.)- Wednesday 6:30-7:15p.m.
Jazz classes are also offered for ages 7-10 in a combo style class. Please
