Our tuition is based on the length of the class, which you can find in our tuition table below.

25% of your fall/spring tuition is due upon registration in order for your enrollment to be complete. Your credit card is NOT automatically charged when you submit your registration form or enroll in a class. You must go into the fees and payments screen in your newly created Spotlight JackRabbit account to make a payment.

Winter Recital Costume | $25 costume rental fee per class

Spring Recital Costume | $80+tax per class (Dancers keep this costume)
Spring Recital Fee | $50 per dancer (media + recital t-shirt)

INSTALLMENT PAYMENT OPTION
Tuition can be paid in full at time of registration OR you may choose to pay in our 4 payment installment plan:
Payment 1: 25% due at time of registration
Payment 2: Due November 1st
Payment 3: Due January 1st
Payment 4: Due March 1st (Remaining balance)

Fall-Spring dance registration is now open
Please make note of the information below to ensure your registration is complete:

All dancers pay a registration fee of $20/1st dancer and $15 for each additional dancer - covers credit card processing and administrative fees.
How to register:
Step 1 View schedule under "Fall-Spring Session" tab to view classes by age. Dancers should enroll for the grade they will be entering in the 2024-2025 school year.
Step 2 Pick your classes.
Step 3 Click on the register tab on the top of the page to enroll OR login if you have already created a Jackrabbit account. If you are new to SDA you will first need to create an account. To create an account, click 'Register'. You will be taken to a page to fill out all of your information/dancer information and what classes you would like to register for.
Step 4 After you have created an account and selected classes, a payment will be required before you can finalize your registration. 25% of tuition is required at time of registration.

Class Information

Tiny Dancers + COMBO CLASSES
3/4yrs Combo, 5/6yrs Combo and Grades 1-2 Combo are half Ballet and half Jazz combo classes. Ballet is the foundation to proper dance training and beautiful technique. ​
Tiny Taps & Hip Hop are vibrant and energetic classes to quicker rhythms!
​
Class Shoes/Attire: Any form fitted clothing (leggings, dance shorts, tank top, leotard dress) with hair secured out of the face.
​
3/4yrs Combo, 5/6yrs Combo & Grades 1-2 Combo will need pink ballet shoes and black Jazz shoes.
​
Tiny Taps will need black tap shoes.

JAZZ
Jazz classes are vibrant and energetic consisting of unique moves set to a quicker rhythm and incorporates different styles of turns and leaps. To excel in jazz, dancers are encouraged to try ballet as well, as it supports grace, balance and strength.
​
Class Shoes/Attire: Leggings or shorts, fitted tank top or leotard and black Jazz shoes.
Dancers should have their hair pulled back and secured out of their face.
​

BALLET
Ballet is the foundation to proper training with developing correct posture, a firm core and beautiful technique which is important to be a successful dancer.
​The Collective Dancers (Competition):
Class Shoes/Attire: Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes. Ballet skirt or dance shorts may be worn over the leotard.
​
Boys: Black form fitted shirt, black shorts and black ballet shoes.​
​
All ballet dancers must have their hair in a bun for class.
​

HIP HOP
Hip Hop dance classes offer hard hitting movements that are upbeat, low and grounded. Hip hop classes start at 3 years old.
​
Class Attire: Sweat pants or leggings, fitted tank top or t-shirt and any clean pair of indoor sneakers for class. (Performance hip hop shoe links will be sent separately).
​
Dancers should have their hair pulled back and secured out of their face.

LYRICAL BALLET
Lyrical dance lessons are a modern contemporary form of dance that utilizes ballet technique and encourages the use of emotions and personal interpretation in movements. It is highly encouraged that dancers wanting to enroll in this form of dance take ballet classes to build the proper technique that the lyrical style requires.
Contemporary dance combines elements of several genres like modern, jazz, lyrical and ballet. This form is expressive and strives to connect the mind and body through fluid movements.

Class Shoes/Attire: Leotard or fitted tank top, dance shorts with tights or leggings and tan lyrical footies/half shoes.
Dancers should have their hair pulled back and secured out of their face.
​

Pom Pom
POM-POM is a jazz dance based class where dancers will use poms to create fun visual dances and creative formation changes.
​
Class Shoes/Attire: Leotard/Tank Top/Tshirt with dance shorts or leggings and black Jazz shoes for recital performances.
Dancers should have their hair pulled back and secured out of their face.
​
Dancers are welcome to wear any clean pair of indoor sneakers to class but should have black Jazz shoes for each recital performance.
​

Mini Competition Teams
SDA's Tiny & Mini competition teams are an introductory level team that rehearses one day a week. Dancers must enroll in any 2024-2025 Evolution class to compete on Tiny or Mini Team.

Tiny Team: ages 5-6
Mini Team: ages 7-8
​
Rehearsals: Tuesdays 5:30-6:15 PM
​
Dancers compete at three regional competitions from March-April.
​
Rehearsals begin Tuesday, November 5.
​
Class Shoes/Attire: Any form fitted clothing (leggings, dance shorts, tank top, leotard dress) with hair secured out of the face. Dancers should have black jazz shoes.
