What we're doing
to ensure the safety of
our dancers & families
We'd like to thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate through the effects of Covid-19. The safety and well-being of our dancers, families and staff is most important to us and that is why we have created new guidelines within our studio to help you feel safe and confident in continuing your dance education.
Before You Arrive for Class
All dancers should wash hands regularly and will be required to sanitize hands upon class entry.
No food/drink will be permitted inside the studio. Dancers should eat prior to arriving. Water bottles are permitted and all dancers should bring a labeled water bottle with them to class.
*Vending & water fountains closed until further notice.
New Studio Entry & Exit
Studio A - front door
Studio B - side/boutique door
Studio C - back door
Entrance and exit assignments are emailed to each class. If you are unsure of your entrance, please email us!
Dancers should wait in their vehicles or outside until a teacher opens the door to enter the building.
All dancers will have their temperature checked with a non-contact infrared thermometer and will put on our Bioprotect hand sanitizer. Those dancers who display a temperature of 100.4 degrees or lower will be allowed to dance that day.
Early drop-off is not permitted. The student lounge & all waiting areas will be closed until further notice. Dancers ages 7+ should be dropped off and picked-up at the their designated studio door.
One parent/guardian will be allowed for drop-off and pick-up of students ages 3-6.
In Class Guidelines
Studio occupancy will follow county guidelines per each phase: Phase 1 - 25% maximum occupancy, Phase 2 - 50% maximum occupancy, Phase 3 - 75% maximum occupancy
Dancer spacing in each studio will reflect social distancing guidelines.
Whenever possible, doors will be open to create more air flow within the studio and reduce touch points of door handles.
All staff will be required to wear a mask during verbal instruction.
Effective Monday, July 13th Dane County has issued a new order which will require all people age 5 and over to wear a mask. ALL students will be required to wear a mask while in class. With the added restriction of masks, we will be adjusting our classes slightly and will be making sure to take a break outside during class (or whenever needed) to allow the dancers to take their mask off. If your child has a health condition in which they cannot wear a mask, please let us know as we can get you set up with a live class via Zoom.
To avoid the spread of Covid-19, make sure you are practicing good personal health habits.
If your dancer is experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, please keep them at home.
All SDA staff is self-monitoring their symptoms and ask that you do the same for the safety of our dancers.
Early drop-off not permitted
Maximum occupancy followed per phase guidelines
All teachers required to wear a mask
No food/drink allowed (water permitted)
Vending removed/water fountain closed
Full studio professionally cleaned & sanitized every week

As this situation evolves, we will continue to make adjustments that support the safety and well-being of our dancers and staff.
We look forward to dancing with you very soon.
